Robbie Taylor DMD, MPH grew up in Corbin KY, and received his dental degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 2009. In 2010 he completed his residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at The University Hospital in Cincinnati. After 3 years in private practice, Dr. Taylor joined the faculty at the University of Kentucky, where he was a Team Leader and Director of Clinic Curriculum at the College of Dentistry. While at UK he mentored his 4th year dental students in all aspects of patient care. He taught endodontics (root canals), surgery, and management while also seeing his own patient base in Faculty Practice at the college. In 2018 he earned his master’s degree in Public Health Policy and Administration, and went on to represent the dental school on the University’s Global Health Advisory Committee. This included taking teams of dental students to provide care in Nicaragua and Puerto Rico. Nationally, Dr. Taylor was involved in the American Dental Education Association, where he was the Chair of Comprehensive Care and General Dentistry.
Martha has worked with the Couzens family since 2005. She has an Associate’s Degree in dental hygiene as well as a certificate in anesthesia. Her favorite part of being a dental hygienist is working on perio (gum health) and seeing the impact of healthy gums. She enjoys educating patients on how to take care of their oral hygiene while at home so that they can have beautiful smiles and better overall health. Martha has two teenage daughters and loves to read and camp in her free time.
Rachael joined Couzens Dental in 2008 as an expanded duties dental assistant. She loves many parts of her work, but especially the process of making crowns. She’s great at it and loves being able to help people feel more confident about their smiles! Rachael has a daughter and an Australian Shepherd Poodle mix who keep her busy outside of work. They love to explore the outdoors and go camping together.
Amie has been with Couzens Dental since 2017 and works as an expanded duties dental assistant. In addition to taking x-rays and making crowns, Amie’s favorite part of her job is working with Invisalign® patients. She loves to see the transformation from start to finish! Amie and her husband have one daughter and just bought a farm complete with chickens, a dog, and two cats.
